The branch table window is opened by selecting in the menu 'Tables' > 'Branch'. The input data for the branches is edited in this window. The input data of the branches is stored in the project database.

Table Branch Table
Table Branch Table

The reference properties in this window are as follows:

  • 'Project Number', to show the current project number for reference only. The field is not editable, the project number is edited in the project dialog.
  • 'Pipe Class', to show the current pipe class for reference only. The field is not editable, the pipe class number is edited in the pipe class dialog.

The table shows the branch type per header size (horizontal) and branch size (vertical). The table shows the selected and edited sizes in a grid. By pressing the left mouse button and keeping it down and dragging over the sizes, more grid cells can be selected to edit the data simultaneously. Click the right mouse button in this list view to activate the context menu.

The stub-on & stub-in branches are calculated based on the following types:

  • Reinforced fabricated branch
  • Unreinforced fabricated branch
  • Custom fabricated branch

The other branch possibilities are to complete the branch table in the summary sheet only. There is an integrity check done between a selected tee in the branch table and the selected component tee. For example: the selected tee in the branch table does show a different color if the corresponding tee component is not selected.

The buttons are as follows:

  • 'WO', to set the selected branching sizes to weldolet reinforced branch.
  • 'BT', to set the selected branching sizes to butt welded tee or butt welded reducing tee.
  • 'BO', to set the selected branching sizes to a butt welded (reducing) tee with a reducer to match the branch size.
  • 'RF', to set the selected branching sizes to a reinforced stubon which is a pipe to pipe connection with a reinforcement pad.
  • 'UF', to set the selected branching sizes to a stubon which is a pipe to pipe connection without reinforcement.
  • 'CF', to set the selected branching sizes to a reinforced stubon which is a pipe to pipe connection with a reinforcement pad and all dimensions are customized.
  • 'RF in', to set the selected branching sizes to a reinforced stubin which is a pipe to pipe connection with a reinforcement pad.
  • 'UF in', to set the selected branching sizes to a stubin which is a pipe to pipe connection without reinforcement.
  • 'CF in', to set the selected branching sizes to a reinforced stubin which is a pipe to pipe connection with a reinforcement pad and all dimensions are customized.
  • 'Sync', to synchronize the branch types.
  • 'Del', to delete a branch type.

At the bottom of the dialog:

  • 'Help' button, to show this help page
  • 'OK' button, to save the data to the pipe class database and close the dialog.
