Design standard of test flange for testing tube at stationary tubesheet. Use this standard for study purposes only.

General Notes

1. See exchanger drawing for any exceptions to this standard.
2. Diameter dimensions, bolt holes and thickness of the test flange to be equal to the girth flange of the channel
3. Tapped hole in centerline for eye bolt 1/2" or M12 for units under 30" or NW750 and 5/8" or M16 for units 30" or NW750 and larger
4. Thread type for tapped hole to be the same as used for the bolting of the girth flanges
5. Test flange material carbon steel commercial quality
6. Gasket to be provided for testing
7. test flanges only to be used for exchanger with removable bundles and bonnet type channels. Unless specificied on the exchanger drawing
